Curel Hand & Cuticle Cream Review

With the cooler months approaching, my skin, specifically speaking of the skin on my hands, have been getting extremely dry and itchy. Also, the fact that I am around children all day and am constantly having to wash my hands certainly doesn’t help when it comes to the dryness factor. All that being said, I’ve been on the hunt to find the perfect hand cream that will hydrate, moisturize, and keep my hands feeling young and supple without all of the greasy residue that most hand creams leave.

I was going through the lotion aisles at my local drugstore, and came across the Curel fast-absorbing hand & cuticle cream, and being a long time user of Curel, I figured that I would pick this up and give it a try. What really sold me on this product was the little red font that reads: “Immediately softens hands & cuticles 200% & helps prevent broken nails”. After reading that, I figured that it wouldn’t hurt to give this a try.

Immediately after purchasing the lotion, I opened it up and applied some on my hands before driving home. Yes, I was that anxious! The smell of this lotion is nice and soft and doesn’t linger long after, which I appreciate. As for the consistency of this lotion, it is water based, so it isn’t going to be as thick as a rich hand cream, but don’t let that aspect fool you; this lotion has worked wonders with leaving my hands feeling supple and moisturized. One of the best parts about this lotion is that it quickly absorbs into your hands without that nasty greasy feeling. Moving on to the cuticles, I do notice that they appear to be softer once I rub this in and around them, which is always a plus.

I use this lotion on a daily basis, and make sure to really apply this before bed because when I wake up, I have such soft hands that make me happy and tak me back to my childhood days of not having a care in the world about having dry and cracked fingers. To me, this hand cream is basically a 2 for 1; you get an awesome hand cream as well as a cuticle treatment. I would highly recommend this product to anybody who is looking to make their hands feel young and refreshed.

You can find Curel products at most local drugstores, and even online shops carry this. The price ranges from about $5-7 depending on where you live and shop.
