The smell of incense fills the room
It wipes away despair and gloom.
It takes you to a different time and place
Where you and I can meet face to face.
You and I are forced apart,
But that can’t stop what’s in my heart.
So when you’re away, just close your eyes
And assume, if you can, a sleepy disguise
Then things will not be as they seem
For we’ll be together in our enchanted dreams.
