Every year, the day after Thanksgiving becomes a crazed shopping day, called “Black Friday.” Stores open at 3 a.m. or 5 a.m., and people line up to get the cheapest deals of the year. Sometimes you hear about crowds being trampled or stores running out of items five minutes after they opened, but every year, people seem to make the day after Thanksgiving (which this year is November 25th) a shopping, holiday tradition.

WAREHOUSE STORES
The big warehouse stores have a little bit of everything, electronics, clothes, toys and more. Since they already have good prices, their Black Friday sales are very popular.
TARGET – this year stores will open at midnight on Thanksgiving Day and will stay open for 23 hours and close at 11 p.m. Nov. 25
WAL-MART – this season Wal-Mart has a price-matching program that is supposed to guarantee shoppers will snag the best deal on many items purchased, so between Nov. 1 and Dec. 25, shoppers who buy an eligible product, then later find the same item for a lower price elsewhere, will be issued a gift card for the difference. To get the price match, consumers are required to bring in the original receipt and the local competitor’s printed ad to a Wal-Mart store.
