Best Breweries in Lancaster Pennsylvania

Lancaster is rich in history and in culture. There are many places to wine and dine with friends or family. Here is a list of my favorite breweries.

Iron Hill Brewery

Iron Hill Brewery offers six house beers, three of which have won awards, as well monthly flavors. If you prefer to enjoy your beer in bottles, no problem! They offer bottled options as well. Most impressive is the eagerness to impove the community! A portion of certain items are donated to Curesearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation and Lancaster’s own YMCA. If you’re hungry, the food is delicious! They offer many choices from soups and salads to burgers. They even offer a kid’s menu.

Lancaster Brewing Company

Located in the edge of the city, this place offers amazing food.Of course, they offer freshly brewed beer-22 varieties to be exact. My favorite is the strawberry wheat. If you are looking for a fun and unique autmosphere with fresh cuisine and drinks, this is worth checking out.

Rumspringa Brewing Company

Rumspringa is the term used when the Amish turn 16, and explore mainsteam culture. Located in the heart of Amish country, Rumspringa Brewing company is a great place to relax in a Pennsylvania Dutch autmosphere. If you want to eat, the Barn Cafe offers Pennsylvanian Dutch staples. If you’re into wine, the Wine Gallery offers a variety of award winning wines.

Bube’s Brewery

Okay, so Bube’s isn’t quite in Lancaster, but located in Mount Joy, it’s worth the 20 minute drive. This historic 19th century brewery offers great food and a variety of delicious, fresh beers. You can relax with your friends, investigate a murder mystery, or enjoy feasts from different eras in history. Bube’s Brewery is sure to please the food lover, the beer lover, the party girl, and the history buff. Personally, this is my favorite brewery in, and around, Lancaster County.
