Be Creative

Bee was not getting around as well as she did when she was younger. It seemed her world was getting smaller as she could hardly leave her small apartment. Walking was such a challenge to her these days. And her energy level was very low. The world she could see around her was getting smaller.

Bee was very creative, however. She enjoyed making jewelry and crocheting. She found the most joy in her hobbies picking out balls of yarn and beads. She loved color and color combinations. Once the colors were picked out, it was fascinating to her to watch the colors blend together or interact with each other. Sometimes the colors resulted as she had planned. Other times the colors interacted in a way that surprised her. When she was planning her projects, the world within her was very large. It is exciting to be creative.

As a bonus, when she was finished with her projects, she had something nice that would be appreciated by the one she gave the blanket, jewelry or whatever Bee had created, away. Bee liked being creative, making nice things and the joy of giving them away.

Bee also enjoyed writing. She especially enjoyed creative writing, such as poetry. Once an idea hit her mind, she had not problem bending the words into poetry form. Sometimes inspiration would arrive in the middle of the night. Bee would drag herself out of bed to write down the idea that had invaded her sleep like a living dream. This excited her and she had trouble getting back to sleep. Inspiration to be creative had an exciting effect on one’s body and mind.

Yes, her world was getting smaller as she could not go places and do things like she used to. However, the world of creativity she lived in her mind, inside of herself, was growing larger and larger each day. Each day Bee became more creative. She could imagine the whole world and universe inside herself. The world inside of her was growing every day.

Bee’s love for creation was very satisfying. It was more satisfying than going out of her apartment. It was more exciting than going shopping. Many visitors came to see her. She had plenty to share with her visitors. She had plenty of writing opportunities to keep her writing as much as she had the time. Bee’s creative world was the best ever, even at her age!
