For those who prefer wild feed turkeys, turkey hunting would be your best bet. As these turkeys feed off the wild plant life, they are not fed feed formulated to cause them to grow larger or bred for the same reason like those at a turkey farm.

*Prepare to wait. Like with any hunting season, be prepared to wait until they decide whether they want to heed your turkey call.
Both Wild Turkey Hunting Tips
*Check your fish and game regulations. Each state has different regulations for firearms in both seasons. The dates and times you can hunt are posted with each season.
*Buy a permit. Be sure to have a turkey hunting permit. This will save you from being fined when caught without it.
*Have your hunter’s license. Poaching is against the law. Hunting without a license is against the law.
