It was Christmas Eve and my boyfriend and I were on our way to our first Christmas Eve service together. I was pretty excited to be attending Christmas Eve service at my Church, having my boyfriend there and all. When we arrived at my Church my boyfriend and I found a place to sit, My boyfriend being right next to the center isle. I looked around to try and find my God mom and sisters but they were not there yet. The music had started and the Pastor had started greeting everyone and announced that there was going to be a special announcement. Just then My God mom and sisters hurried in, (late like always) and sat in the pew right in front of us. That Pastor said a couple more things about Christmas and then we all stood to sing a Christmas song. After the song the Pastor asked everyone to sit. The Pastor then said that my boyfriend had an announcement. I continue to look at the Pastor and think “What does my boyfriend have to do with Christmas Eve service.” I then look over at him and there he is standing in the center isle. He then gets down and one knee and Proposes!! I am so shocked at what is happening that I put my hands over my mouth and suddenly I cant breath or speak and I feel like my heart has stopped. After what seamed like 30 second or more I am able to say Yes, I start to cry and everyone cheers. Talk about the most embarrassing, exciting, unexpected proposal of all time!
