Katy Perry joins a list of big names with her four MTV EMA nominations. The singer is in good company with Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber for the awards to be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 6. Katy is up for Best Song, Best Pop, Best Female, and Best Live, Neonlimelight reports.
Katy shares the Best Pop, Best Song, and Best Live with Lady Gaga. “Firework” is the song up for the win while Gaga’s is “Born This Way.” With Justin Bieber, Katy shares the category of Best Pop.
Will Perry win any of her categories at the 2011 MTV European Music Awards? She’s up against some heavy competition with Gaga and Justin, but she’s not one to discount, either.
Other recording artists nominated for multiple 2011 MTV EMAs are Eminem , Adele, Kanye West, and Beyoncé. Bruno Mars ties with Katy Perry by getting four nods and represents the majority of male categories.
