Chicago’s-McDonald’s-Thanksgiving-Parade
Become a volunteer or plan to be there to watch.This parade easily compares with the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade and New York City’s Macy’s Parade. Floats and bands and well known characters oh my! Get out there early to get a spot or watch it on your local WGN channel.

Chanukah in Chicago
Enjoy Chanukah festivities in Chicago this year with Lubavitch Chabad of Illinois. Learn about what the holiday means and celebrate with others. Lubavitch Chabad at 2833 West Howard in Chicago.
Chanukah is December 20 – 28th this year. Light the first candle after sundown on the 20th.

Broadway In Chicago
Go see the uber popular LA Cage Aux Folles at the Bank of America Theater in Chicago. Winner of the 2010 Tony award for best music revival, this show starts December 20th and ends on January 1st. This is fun, vibrant show to highlight your holiday season. TICKETS.

Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Parade 2011
“The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival officially kicks off the Christmas season in Chicago, with numerous fun family activities and the highlight, the Mickey Mouse parade illuminating over one million lights along Michigan Avenue. (Times and events subject to change)”
November 19th
11am – 7pm. parade starts at 5:30pm, Michigan Avenue between Oak Street and the Chicago River.
