Everyone Has to Vote This Time

America is in a difficult period, no argument about that. Never in the lifetime of the current generations has it been more important to VOTE, to make your voice heard by our elected officials. By the actions of those in Congress and President Obama, what the people of our country want is being ignored. While they are undoubtedly intelligent motivated individuals, they have forgot who they work for.
Every Congressman, every Senator, and even President Obama, works for you. Each and every one of us sit on the board of the largest business in the world. Of course that is metaphorically speaking, but if you were on the board of a large corporation, with the results we are getting, would you not make a change?
Yes, it is time for change. It is time for the lifetime politician to go the way of the dinosaur. While they roamed the world for years, and did as they wanted, when they wanted, things have changed. We as a people no longer need to VOTE and follow blindly. We are at a crossroad in our history of our country. Go LEFT, and we will struggle with the crushing cost of entitlements, and each and every new generation will be a slave to the last. Go RIGHT, and we will continue to try to regulate from a position of morality that the common man and woman can never live up too, standards that on paper look good, but in the real world are unattainable due to human errors and temptations.
We must all move to the center with understanding and compassion for our fellow citizens. The morals of one group cannot be forced on others, no more than one group can expect another to provide for them what they could provide for themselves with effort and education. We must reach up and down the social ladder to help those below us, and to be helped by those above. This help must be given freely, not taken by those less fortunate, or it becomes something other than help. It becomes a wedge on our society, a divisive wedge, that all through history has led to discord, and caused great civilizations to crumble. The ancient Romans thought they could regulate morals, and for a period of time they tried, and failed. The Spanish, tried to regulate the new world, and while they had limited success, they too were turned aside, and became irrelevant. Time after time through out the history of mankind, failure has come to those who try to suppress the masses.
The time is now for every American to stand up, VOTE, and make your voice heard. We cannot expect the few to provide for the many. Each one of us must do our part to live free, to prosper, to continue to live in the greatest country the world has ever known. So many of our ancestors died, fighting for the right to be free, to have a say in the future. So many of us take for granted the gift we have received by the sacrifice of so many.
We may not be able to agree on social problems our country has, we may not be able to solve all our problems quickly. One thing is for sure if we do not exercise our right to VOTE, to be heard, to make those who represent us know how we feel, we will continue on a path of discord. We will continue to let a few decide for the many, how and where our great country will go. We will continue to let our future generations have to deal with our short comings, to be deprived of the same opportunity that we had.
All future generations have but one right, to be able to decide where life will take them, and how far they go with the opportunity we leave them. So VOTE, give them a chance to be Americans, the way our founding fathers did for us and all who have come before us. MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.
