Match 1: The Miz, R-Truth & Alberto Del Rio v. John Morrison, Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston

The match started out with every star in the match making fairly brief appearances in the ring competing against one another. Morrison and Kofi Kingston exercised some inventive offensive maneuvers, but when Morrison stayed in the ring with R-Truth, the paced slowed. The Miz was tagged in and tried to wear down Morrison, but as Miz had Morrison’s hair hooked, Morrison fell back, kicking his foot in the air, nailing the Miz in the head. Morrison tagged in Kofi who unleashed an instant offensive on the Miz, and nailed both Del Rio and R-Truth off of the apron. He dropped a sit down Boom drop on the Miz and went for the Trouble in Paradise but missed and almost got hit with the Skull Crushing Finale. But Kofi reversed and hit the Miz with the S.O.S. and went for a pin, only to have it broken up by Del Rio. As more competitors got involved, The Miz hit Kofi with a modified front DDT and tried to pin him, but Kofi escaped. The Miz’s team exchanged tags as they beat up on Kofi, who tried to get away from the attack, but kept being restrained from doing so. When the match broke down into a frenzy with all of the participants battling on the inside and outside of the ring, Rey was able to hit R-Truth, and almost the Miz, with the 619. The Miz came at Rey from the outside, but got kicked with a reverse kick. Rey headed to the corner, as Kofi hopped onto the top ropes and body splashed the Miz on the outside. In the meantime, Rey headed up to the top rope and landed a body splash onto R-Truth and pinned him for the win.

In the back, John Laurinitis demanded a public apology for CM Punk kicking him in the head on Monday to which Punk responded with a very obviously pretend apology in a very sarcastic tone. As Laurinitis left, Punk turned to come face to face with Stephanie McMahon Helmsley. She wished him luck, which Punk interpreted as a condescending remark and told her to go talk to her husband and her daddy. She said she spoke to them already and that they wish him and Cena both luck tonight, but what would she know, she is just Vince’s clueless daughter as Punk had implied. Punk said that she was pretty clueless, but actually he called her idiotic. Stephanie extended her hand to shake Punk’s and he said that he would shake it but he knows where that hand has been.

Sheamus went to the top ropes and came off tackling Henry with a shoulder block. Henry tried to power his way back into the match, but Sheamus kicked him in the chest, knocking Henry to the outside. Not satisfied with a count out, Sheamus followed Henry to the outside, and tried to get him back in the ring. Henry took the opportunity to lift Sheamus up and first run him into the steel post, back first, and then turn around and run Sheamus through the barricades, landing both men on the ground. Henry got up and got back in the ring but Sheamus didn’t stir until the ref reached a count of 7, and then crawled to the ring, not making it back in time, giving Henry the count out victory.

As Beth was about to take over the offense again, Kelly exploded, pounding Beth’s face into the mat several times while screaming at the top of her lungs. Match 5: Randy Orton v. Christian (No Holds Barred match for the World Championship)

Christian came out and made his major announcement and that was he would have someone in his corner tonight, and that would be his best friend, Edge. Edge asked Christian for the microphone and said that doctors told him he would never be cleared to wrestle again, but he was happy when he left because he felt like he passed the torch to Christian, and he was proud of him. He then went on the chastise Christian about his behavior and told him that somewhere along the line Christian lost his style. Edge then said that he has to tell him this, because Christian won’t listen to anyone else, and that his best friend has becoming a crying, whining, little bitch. Edge threw down the microphone and left the arena. As Orton made his way down, the match started. Both men exchanged punches in the middle of the ring, and went back and forth, reversing each others momentum. The fight soon took to the outside where Orton threw Christian back first into the barricades. He then mounted Christian on the announcers’ table and went for the RKO. Christian escaped, grabbed his belt, and headed threw the crowd, up the staircase, but that was where Orton caught up with him. The two battled down the stairs and back into the ring. After dominating for about a minute, Orton missed Christian after charging him in the corner, running shoulder first into the steel post. Christian found a kendo stick under the ring and went after Orton, nailing him in the gut twice, and then whipped Orton with it before placing it across Orton’s throat with one of the stick’s ends. Thinking he had a chance, Christian tried a pin, but when Orton kicked out, Christian went after Orton with the kendo stick again, but missed, nailing the turnbuckle instead. He still managed to knock Orton down, but Orton would soon come back, albeit for a short period of time, as his offense was cut short by a spinebuster from Christian. Christian retrieved the kendo stick again, mounted the middle ropes and came off at Orton, only to be hit with a drop kick. Orton hit Christian with a few clothesline and a powerslam. Christian got away and tried a middle rope drop kick, only to be sidestepped and thrown to apron, from where Orton would try to DDT him through the ropes. Christian reversed and tried a Kill Switch, only to be hit with a back breaker by Orton. Orton tried to punt Christian in the head, but Christian rolled out of the way. Orton managed to hit him with a sliding drop kick on the outside, and went under the ring to retrieve a table. Orton brough the table into the ring, but when he went out to get Christian, he was blindsided by an assault from Christian. Orton was still able to get Christian in the ring and on the top ropes, suplexing him onto a yet to be unfolded table. Orton tried to position the table in the middle of the ring, but it was too broken, so he positioned it in the corner. He was blindsided by Christian who attempted a spear, but Orton hopped over him and almost hit the RKO, which Christian escaped and went to the outside. Orton went after him, separating the steel ring steps, but Orton would be the one thrown face first into them. Match 6: CM Punk v. John Cena (to determine the undisputed WWE champion w/ Triple H as the special guest referee)

The match opened with multiple mid-ring lock ups, and then both men exchanging take downs, arm bars, head locks and multiple technical wrestling scenarios. Punk tried to apply multiple wear down holds on Cena, which eventually resulted in Cena powering out and trying to lock on the STF. Punk got away from him, as Cena rolled out to the apron. Punk tried to suplex Cena back into the ring, but when that didn’t work, Punk would jump off the middle turnbuckle and kick Cena in the head, knocking to the floor. Once Cena was back in the ring, Punk continued to wear Cen down with a side body lock, but Cena powered up to his feet, and hit Punk with a spinning side slam. When Cena charged Punk off the ropes, he was able to hit him with a shoulder tackle, before coming at him again and hitting Cena with a knee to the head. The sequence nearly repeated itself, with the exception of Punk getting hit with two shoulder tackles. A dazed Cena, after being kneed in the head again, Cena got caught in a dragon sleeper submission by Punk, but got out of it and almost had the STF locked in. Punk got his hand out and reversed the STF into the Anacondevice. Cena refused to submit and to get pinned, catching Punk in a moment of overconfidence, locking in the STF again. Punk reached the ropes with his leg and Triple H broke the hold. Cena charged Punk, but got dumped over the top ropes to the outside. Punk took a few seconds to catch his breath, but then dove out of the ring onto Cena through the ropes with suicide dive. Triple H was counting both men out of the ring, but when he reached the count of 9, he stopped and physically threw both Cena and Punk back into the ring. As both men made it back to their feet, the two men exchanged some punches, but when Punk attempted a kick, Cena ducked and slammed Punk to the mat. He hit Punk with a 5 Knuckle Shuffle and went for the Attitude Adjustment, but Punk got away. The two men exchanged several pin attempts on one another. Cena shot Punk into the corner and hit him with a power slam, but was unable to pin him again. Cena headed to the top rope, but Punk surprised him with a knee to the chest. Cena sidestepped Punk and as Punk landed, locked in the STF. Punk tried for a better part of a minute to escape, finally reaching the ropes. As Punk made it to his feet, Cena hit him with the Attitude Adjustment and went for the pin, but Punk kicked out. Doubtfully looking at Triple H, Cena headed to the top rope and came down with a leg drop, but Punk stepped aside and Cena crashed on the mat. Punk immediately got him up on his shoulders and hit the Go To Sleep, but couldn’t pin Cena. On his leg drop attempt, Cena seemed to have hurt his leg and his back, so Punk headed to the top rope, dropping a big elbow on Cena, but once again was unable to pin him. Punk turned his attention to Triple H and got rolled up by Cena, but escaped the pin attempt again. Both men fired off punches at each other as Punk ducked one of those punches and mounted Cena on his shoulders for another Go To Sleep, and as he went for the pin, Cena put his foot on the ropes, but Triple H didn’t see it and counted Cena’s shoulders down. After the match, Cena angrily vented to Triple H about his mistake and then left the ring. CM Punk came into the ring and Triple H extended his hand, but Punk wouldn’t shake it, so Triple H just raised his hand in the air. As Punk celebrated, and Triple H left the ring, Punk turned around to find himself on a receiving end of a boot from none other than Kevin Nash. A shocked crowd stood silent, as well as Triple H who turned and headed back to the ring. Nash left through the crowd as Triple H stood by the barricades looking on. Suddenly Alberto Del Rio showed up in the entrance way and walked down to the ring with a ref of his own. He then handed the ref his Money In The Bank briefcase, and the ref rang the bell.
