Week 10 QB Rankings will be updated throughout the week.

Week 10 — QB Rankings — RB Rankings — WR Rankings — TE Rankings — D Rankings — Waiver Pickups — Picks & Predictions — Player Injury Updates

1. Aaron Rodgers – GB = Min —– There really is no other QB you can rank #1 right now. Rodgers faces a weak Minnesota Vikings secondary, and the game is at Lambeau to top it off. Anything in the 275-350 passing yard and 2-3 touchdown range is likely and nearly guaranteed.

2. Michael Vick – Phi = Ari —– Vick has not been spectacular lately, but the matchup this week against a bad Arizona Cardinals pass defense should allow plenty of downfield passes to DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin. Add in an additional 25-75 rushing yards and possible rushing TD, and Vick seems like a lock to rack up stats that make him a top 5 scoring fantasy football QB this week.

3. Drew Brees – NO = @Atl —– The interceptions continue to plague Brees, but the passing yards and touchdowns also continue. In what could become a high scoring game with the Falcons this week, Brees could tally stats in the range of 300-350 passing yards and 2-3 touchdowns.

4. Cam Newton – Car = Ten —– I am extremely tempted to rank Newton at #2 this week behind Aaron Rodgers. Facing a not so great Tennessee Titans defense this week could easily have Newton racking up numbers in the range of 225-275 passing yards, 1-2 passing touchdowns, 50-75 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdown.

5. Philip Rivers – SD = Oak —– The three passing touchdowns last week were long awaited, however the three interceptions still leave plenty of doubt and concern for Rivers’ fantasy football owners. Luckily though a matchup against a fairly weak Oakland Raiders pass defense this week could have Rivers once again topping the 300 passing yard mark, with a healthy Vincent Jackson and Antonio Gates to throw to, 2-3 touchdowns are definitely within reach for Rivers in this game.

6. Tony Romo – Dal = Buf —– The loss of Miles Austin hurts, but the emergence of Laurent Robinson has allowed Romo to seemingly not even miss a beat in the passing game. A susceptible Buffalo Bills defense could lead to a big game for the Cowboys offense this week.

7. Ben Roethlisberger – Pit = @Cin —– Fairly tough matchup for the Steelers this week facing an emerging Cincinnati Bengals team. Should actually be a pretty interesting game if the Bengals do not make stupid mistakes.

8. Matt Ryan – Atl = NO —– Facing the Saints offense will likely mean a high scoring game in this matchup, as both offenses have home run passing attacks. Expect plenty of passing attempts for Ryan this week.

9. Matthew Stafford – Det = @Chi —– Tough matchup for Stafford this week, but the Lions should definitely be looking to pass the ball rather than run it in this game. Plenty of passes attempts are likely, so the yards and touchdowns could pile up quickly.

10. Eli Manning – NYG = @SF —– Manning is on a roll right now, but a tough 49ers defense will likely at least slow him down a little bit this week. So temper your expectations for Eli this week, especially if Hakeem Nicks and Ahmad Bradshaw are not able to play in this game.

11. Tom Brady – NE = @NYJ —– Brady has been shaky in recent weeks, and a hot New York Jets defense could easily force Brady into another bad stat game this week.

12. Ryan Fitzpatrick – Buf = @Dal —– Fitzpatrick did not have a great game last week, but that was no doubt expected as he was facing a shutdown New York Jets secondary. A matchup against a much weaker Cowboys secondary this week should allow him to hook up with his favorite target Stevie Johnson for a couple of nice plays in this game.

13. Tim Tebow – Den = @KC —– 55% —– After his terrible week 8 performance against a tough Detroit Lions defense, the fantasy football world turned their backs on Tebow. And as you would guess, he came back with a vengeance in week 9 to show up all the doubters. With a running game that can allow Tebow to consistently rack up between 50-100 rushing yards per game, the fantasy points are fairly reliable from Tebow, with the upside always very good as well. This week’s matchup against a so-so Kansas City Chiefs defense, could have Tebow tallying numbers in the range of 50-100 rushing yards, 150 passing yards, and 2 total touchdowns.

14. Matt Schaub – Hou = @TB —– Solid matchup for the Texans offense, but with the way Arian Foster and Ben Tate are running the ball, why would you want to pass more than you have to right now.

15. Joe Flacco – Bal = @Sea —– I like the matchup for the Ravens offense to put up some points this week, but Flacco just is not consistent enough to trust as anything more than a spot starting QB with upside this week.

16. Mark Sanchez – NYJ = NE —–63% —– The Patriots secondary has been picked apart in nearly every game so far this season, and Sanchez will be given his opportunity this week. With a healthy and revitalized Plaxico Burress in the lineup, Sanchez has a nice realm of receiving options at his disposal in this game. 250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdown passes is well within reach.

17. Matt Cassel – KC = Den —– 46% —– After all the hype for the Kansas City Chiefs offense entering last weeks game against the Miami Dolphins, the Chiefs passing attack was nearly invisible. However even after last weeks stinker of an offensive output for Cassel, a matchup this week against the Denver Broncos still offers plenty of potential for the Chiefs passing attack. 250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdown is definitely within reach for Cassel this week.

18. Josh Freeman – TB = Hou —– Fairly tough matchup for Freeman and the Buccaneers passing game this week as they take on a much improved Houston Texans defense. I would keep expectations low on Freeman this week.

19. Jay Cutler – Chi = Det —– If the Bears offensive line can hold off the Lions defensive line and keep Jay Cutler on his feet, then there is potential. But if the Lions defensive line proves to be too much and gets their way with applying pressure on Cutler, watch out because Cutler could easily become a turnover machine in this game.

20. Matt Hasselbeck – Ten = @Car —– 56% —– Even with very little receiving weapons at his disposal in Tennessee right now, Hasselbeck still manages to be a solid QB, as he racked up a very respectable 272 passing yards and 2 touchdowns against a solid Cincinnati Bengals defense last week. This weeks matchup against a much weaker Carolina Panthers defense could have Hasselbeck easily replicating those week 9 passing stats again in week 10.

21. Carson Palmer – Oak = @SD —– 29% —– Palmer was not exactly great in last weeks game, but he certainly showed that he still has the ability to sling the pigskin around. After tallying 332 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, unfortunately 3 interceptions were also in the mix, Palmer should be a solid QB2 start on fantasy teams this week.

22. Sam Bradford – StL = @Cle —– 29% —– Bradford finally was able to take the field and start last weeks game, but there was obviously a good amount of rust in his performance. Luckily though, a matchup against the Cleveland Browns this week could have Bradford finally eyeing a solid stat game in week 10. 250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdown passes is possible.

23. Christian Ponder – Min = @GB —– 16% —– Three weeks ago the Vikings faced the Packers and Ponder got his first NFL start. He put up solid stats then, and assuming the Vikings are playing catch-up in this game, Ponder should be putting the ball in the air plenty to give him the potential to rack up stats once again.

24. Colt McCoy – Cle = StL —– 35% —– The matchup is in McCoy’s favor to do something.

25. Matt Moore – Mia = Was —– 4% —– Moore’s breakout performance of 3 touchdown passes last week was definitely not expected, and while you cannot expect another performance like that again this week, Moore is definitely not the worst starting QB option for fantasy football lineups this week.

26. Andy Dalton – Cin = Pit —– After a very successful first half of the season, Dalton will face his toughest opponent so far this season this week.

27. Blaine Gabbert – Jac = @Ind —– 4% —– In deep leagues, Gabbert is probably the best gamble start this week who is under 10% owned in 10 team leagues. A weak Colts defense could allow Gabbert to rack up 200 passing yards with 1 touchdown this week.

28. Kevin Kolb – Ari = @Phi —– injury ? —– Toss up on whether Kolb plays or not this week. And even if he does, the matchup is not great for him.

29. Alex Smith – SF = NYG

30. John Beck – Was = @Mia

31. Tarvaris Jackson – Sea = Bal

32. Curtis Painter – Ind = Jac

33. John Skelton – Ari = @Phi

34. Jake Locker – Ten = @Car

35. Charlie Whitehurst – Sea = Bal

36. Kyle Boller – Oak = @SD

37. Rex Grossman – Was = @Mia

38. Brady Quinn – Den = @KC
