Watching Bowl Games in Cumberland Maryland

Bowl games are not really a big issue in Cumberland, Maryland. Mostly because they are only focused on if West Virginia makes it to one. If West Virginia does make it to a bowl game, only the bowl game that they are in is focused on. However, there are a few ways that you can catch other bowl games if you live here.

Stay at Home:

West Virginia fans have been know to come up with some violent actions if their team wins, or looses. Basically, just the thought of their team playing, evokes some animalistic tendencies in people. Local bowl games are offered on digital cable, and this is probably the safe bet for a fan from outside the area. You can make a special order for a channel if you will not be getting the bowl game on your regular channels.

Zona’s:

Zona’s bar and grill is a great place to go to watch the games. This is my personal favorite. They have discount wings, beer, and even bouncers if things get out of hand. They do not often go off the deep end here, mostly because the regulars do not put up with trouble. So I would consider this the second best place to watch a bowl game.

Football Parties:

There are some serious football parties lined up for this year’s bowl games. You can easily find one advertised. Typically, fans go into West Virginia to watch the bowl games. This is mostly because this area is a mix of West Virginia fans and Maryland fans. Mixing the two tends to get ugly.
