The Stone Bridge
A stone bridge across a small stream I see.
Lovingly made, small in size but in construction yet sturdy.
Foot , mechanical and automatic traffic its back will never feel.
It was made for reflection and masonry beauty not with steel.
The sun’s reflection over the bridge reminds me who is really in charge.
For the stone bridge would not exist unless God put its design in somebody’s heart.
The stone bridge is yet a reminder of what human beings are in life.
God gives us a firm foundation during our lifetime to deal with strife.
Seated on a nearby bench its outer beauty is obvious to all to see.
However, it’s the inner message is a bonus gift for those that believe.
