Good morning! The sun is coming over the trees.
The sky is bursting with all sorts of colors like pink.
Come! Wear a jacket so that you do not freeze.
And step out here, away from your kitchen sink.
This is a time to praise the one who made you.
Breathe in the air and feel the chill on your hands.
Take time to praise God and to thank him too.
To him you’re not one of many in all these lands.
Despite all of our griefs and troubles and lows,
God has given us so much to praise him for.
He gives us this beauty to offset our woes.
Not only this new day but much, much more.
Praise you, Lord. Our battle is already won.
I looked out, and stepped out and saw this sky.
Praise you, Lord! You gave us your only son.
Now from my soul I praise you, God on high!
