Shopping at the Family Dollar

As well as being employed at the Family Dollar, I also shop at Family Dollar. Every other weekend or so, on the receipts, a coupon prints out for $5.00 off of $25.00. Now it is time for you to go to work. First, mark it on your calendar, because that coupon is only good for 2 to 3 days and it is ALWAYS a weekend. Second, gather your coupons up. Check Family Dollar’s ad to see what is on sale and if they have a coupon on their website for anything that you might be purchasing. The cashiers usually have extra coupons, so you should be able to break your sale up into $25.00 increments. (I always save receipts from customers who do not want their receipts and hold them for that purpose) Third, make a list of needed items. Fourth, get your calculator. You are ready to shop!

When you arrive at the store, since you have done your homework, you should be able to breeze through this. I would recommend having each transaction’s coupons in a separate envelope with the list written on the outside of the envelope. I have found it to be MUCH easier that way. Just a few items that you might be able to get coupons for, find on sale, and stock up on are the following: shampoo, conditioner, deodorant for men or women, razors, blades, bodywash, soap, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, fabric softner, dryer sheets, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, diapers, toilet tissue, paper towels, tissues. This is just a few items the chain offers.

So gather those coupons and happy shopping. Happy Family Dollaring.
