Nick Jonas Returns to Broadway-Other Highlights of His Young Career

Nick Jonas has had quite a career so far. The 19-year-old’s latest venture is Broadway. He made his debut on stage starring as J. Pierrepont Finch in the Broadway hit, “How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” on January 24. He took over the role previously held by “Glee” actor, Darren Criss. Before that, the role belonged to “Harry Potter” himself, Daniel Radcliff who was the original window washer-turned-business man. Not only is Nick excited about seeing his name in lights but the whole Jonas family, including his two famous brothers, Joe and Kevin Jonas are beyond thrilled for him as they stood out in the middle of Times Square in New York City to watch the unveiling of the official billboard with Nick’s face on it. The youngest Jobro is no stranger to the Broadway stage. He got his start by belting out his vocals in his younger days in “Annie Get Your Gun”, “Les Miserables” and “Beauty and the Beast.” However, this may be the singer’s biggest show yet. His early start in show biz was the prequel to all of the exciting opportunities in entertainment like this one. How will the young Mr. Jonas fare in this new role? He will most likely do quite well considering that he has already “succeeded in business” with his previous projects in music and beyond.

The Jonas Brothers

What started out as three young brothers singing a couple of songs on the Disney Channel had turned into a music sensation fast. They are known as the Jonas Brothers, the fun, sweet and of course very cute guys from New Jersey that everyone loves. Curly haired Nicholas sang his heart out with his older brothers, front man Joe and talented guitarist Kevin Jonas. The screaming girls, sold out concerts, catchy tunes and extremely funny you tubes are what made the band stand out and be noticed. It was a wild ride for the musicians but it also gave Nick and his brothers an opportunity to explore different career options. It sure looks like the quiet mannered Nick is running away with those options at the moment.

Solo Music Project

You might have heard of Nick Jonas and the Administration. Last year, he decided to take on a solo project by putting out his own album without his brothers and taking on his own unique sound. This is something that Nick had his heart set on and he accomplished it. He even set out on a short tour with his band. The album might not have fared as well as he had hoped but Jonas fans rejoiced and made up for it in deep appreciation for his hard work and enthusiasm.

Guest Starring Roles

The “Jonas LA” star got his feet wet in acting on the Disney Channel and with that little bit of experience and of course his somewhat famous name has come much bigger opportunities in television. Last year, Nick had his first guest starring role in the short lived series, “Mr. Sunshine” alongside “Friends” alumni, Matthew Perry. He also landed an even bigger gig as a long lost daddy on the new Tim Allen comedy, “Last Man Standing.” What other roles does this Jobro cutie have coming up? How about a guest spot on the anticipated new show, “Smash” coming up next month? Not a bad start to a budding career for this hard working pop star from New Jersey.
