How to Make an Easter Tree

Easter is a fun time of the year! The holiday not only has religious meaning but indicates the coming of spring. What better way to enjoy both than to decorate an Easter Tree.

The directions for this Easter tree requires the use of fast setting resin. Eliminate the cost of the resin by substituting sand, decorative stones, pebbles, rice, coffee beans or other small items.

Things You’ll Need:

8-inch tall glass vase
24-inch tall ½-inch to ¾-inch branch with twigs
Fast setting resin
Small Easter ornaments

Instructions:

Step 1 – Fill the bottom third of an 8-inch tall glass vase with fast setting resin. Mix the resin according to the directions on the container.

Step 2 – Remove any twigs from the bottom 8-inches of the branch.

Step 3 – Place the end of the branch in the center of the vase. Prop in place until the resin is completely set.

Step 4 – Decorate the twigs on the branch with small Easter ornaments.

Make inexpensive Easter ornaments using blown-out dyed Easter eggs. Secure light weight fishing line or clear beading thread to the dyed eggs. Hang from the branches. Tie small bows to the end of the branches for a soft, feminine look.
