Grand Canyon Hotels Within the Grand Canyon Village

Encompassing more than 1.2 million acres and 277 river miles, the Grand Canyon National Park requires several days to explore. The Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim offers visitors a variety of accommodations and features the majority of parks services. Lodging in the Grand Canyon fills up quickly. Reserve your rooms up to 13 months in advance to ensure availability.

El Tovar Hotel

Travelers who prefer elegant accommodations will find these at the El Tovar Hotel. This stylish hotel, a national historic landmark found on the rim of the canyon caters to guests more than any other establishment. These added services and amenities consist of concierge, turn-down service, room service and the only fine-dining restaurant in the Grand Canyon Village. The El Tovar Hotel’s rooms include one-bedroom suites featuring sitting rooms and the option of a balcony or porch, or standard and deluxe rooms with double, queen or king beds.

Kachina Lodge

Situated on the edge of the canyon next to the El Tovar Hotel in the Grand Canyon Village, Kachina Lodge provides modern accommodations with southwestern decor that is ideal for couples or families. The rooms feature either partial canyon views or street views and contain full baths, televisions, telephones, coffeemakers and refrigerators. Kachina Lodge does not offer any dining options on-site, but guests may walk to restaurants located in either the El Tovar Hotel or the Bright Angel Lodge.

Bright Angel Lodge and Cabins

The Bright Angel Lodge and Cabins, another national historic landmark is located in the middle of the South Rim. This rustic lodge offers an assortment of accommodations, including spacious suites with optional fireplaces; standard lodge rooms with or without baths and no televisions; and three cabin types featuring baths, televisions, and the option of fireplaces and rim locations. Guests may dine at two on-site casual restaurants open year-round, or grab a quick snack at the seasonal coffee and ice cream shops.

Maswik Lodge

The Maswik Lodge offers guests a more remote setting within the Grand Canyon Village area. Situated a quarter-mile from the canyon rim in a Ponderosa Pine forest and encompassing a number of acres, the Maswik Lodge features a variety of rooms yearlong and cabins during the summer season. Accommodations include motel-type rooms in two separate two-story buildings. Choose from spacious rooms featuring coffeemakers and refrigerators in the North section, or smaller rooms without these features in the South section. Dining facilities at Maswik Lodge consist of a cafeteria.
