Chrysler 300 Luxury Series Officially Unveiled

Chrysler has announced the all new Chrysler 300 Luxury Series Sedan, which promises to be the most luxurious and fuel efficient Chrysler 300 ever built. According to the Detroit carmaker, the new flagship model will offer a luxury level never seen before on an American car.

Chrysler’s CEO and Brand President, Mr. Saad Chehab highlighted some of the new exclusive features that will be found on the new Chrysler 300 and 300C Luxury Series. “The new 2012 Chrysler 300 Luxury Edition is more than just our flagship car, it’s the trophy for the tireless majority, an automobile designed and built to meet the most discerning of expectations. It’s fitted with a paddle shifting eight-speed transmission found only on cars twice its cost, dressed with the highest grade Italian Poltrona Frau leather and finished with hand sanded real wood found only in exotic cars – all to deliver a surprising combination of hyper craftsmanship, style, technology and ‘uber’ best-in-class fuel economy at 31 mpg.”

Besides these features, the new luxury car from Detroit will also come with 20-inch polished wheels for the rear wheel drive model and 19-inch aluminum wheels for the all wheel drive versions, plus platinum chrome inserts on the front part, door handles and exterior mirror caps.

On the interior, Chrysler has fitted the new 300 with a top of the line infotainment system featuring a large 8.4-inch touchscreen display, SiriusXM Traffic and Garmin satellite navigation. Combined with the Mochachino seats, leather wrapped instrument panel with LED-illuminated instrument cluster, Berber floor mats, power-adjustable pedals with memory and LED-illuminated interior these features really make the new Chrysler 300 a worthy competitor in the luxury segment.

Chrysler has also released the starting prices for the new model. According to the official press release, the rear wheel drive version of the Chrysler 300 Luxury Series will start at a little over $40,000 ($40,145), while the all wheel drive version will have a starting price tag of $42,495. On the other hand, the Chrysler 300C Luxury Series will start at $42,895 and the all wheel drive model at $45,245. The all wheel drive is available for both the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 and 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engines, Chrysler being very proud of this system which is able to automatically disconnect the front axle when not necessary and improve fuel economy and CO2 emissions.

The first Chrysler 300 and 300C Luxury Series are scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2012.
