A Halloween night (You got that from the title, didn’t you?)
Ghost and ghouls scare the town (They are really going as a headless horseman and a ninja but those have too many syllables for a haiku. And really, what kid wants to go as a ghost or a ghoul nowadays? Heck, I don’t even think my kids know what a ghoul is!)
Begging for candy (So can I really call it begging when candy is expected? I guess it should be called social extortion instead.)
