WWE Monday Night RAW 10-24-11 Results

Triple H came out to the ring dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, not his usual business attire. He said that he learned early on that in the business you either make friends or money, and he considered himself lucky to have had both. He said that Shawn Michaels, Sean Waltman and Kevin Nash were those people. He said that he didn’t realize that some of his friends were there to use him for power when he obtained some. He then said that he watched Nash’s priorities change to mainly money and power. He then said that Nash tried to come to the ring last night and break his neck. He said that as corny as it sounds, Nash broke his heart and now he wants to take it out on Nash. He would then call out Nash to the ring, claiming that he knows Nash is in the building and if the last 20 years have meant anything he would come out to the ring. John Laurinitis came out and said he heard the rumor that Nash was there, but also that he wasn’t. Triple H told him to shut up and not walk through the ropes. Laurinitis said that he knows Triple H is mad but he shouldn’t embarrass the company. Triple H reminded Laurinitis that he still works for him, and he would go to the back and scour the building for Nash, and find him, offer him a huge contract so that Nash couldn’t refuse it, then he would make Nash come fight him. And if he didn’t Triple H would go to Nash’s house, find him and would get arrested for what he would then do to Nash, which would for sure embarrass the company. Hunter then left the ring and turned at the entrance way while Laurinitis tried to tell him that he was being unreasonable, but as Triple H turned, Nash came up behind him with a sledge hammer, driving it into the back of Triple H’s neck. Laurinitis rushed up the ramp and demanded that Nash leave immediately as he wasn’t supposed to be there. As security came after Nash he shoved them off and threatened to use the sledgehammer. He finally left on his own, as refs and trainers helped Triple H to his feet. As they would slowly walk Triple H to the back he claimed that he was fine, but couldn’t stand on his feet and collapsed. Several minutes later, RAW returned from break as Triple H was loaded into an ambulance when Nash showed up and demanded that he EMTs put Triple H, who was tied to a stretcher, up against the wall and tried to hit him in the face with the sledge hammer. Security interfered, but Nash was able to shove the board Triple H was attached to down on the ground. Security stepped in front of him, forcing Nash to back off. Laurinitis profusely apologized to Triple H as medics tried to assess his condition.

When he hung up, David Otunga who was hanging out in Laurinitis’s office and told him that Stephanie is just concerned. Laurinitis said that he is concerned that it makes him look like he is running a show of unsafe work working condition. John Cena busted into his office and ordered Otunga to leave. He said he was done with Cena and would move on to other challengers. However, since there was no one as good as him, so he will be holding on to the title for a really long, long time. CM Punk’s music played and Punk came to the ring reminding Del Rio that he never received a rematch after Del Rio cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase on him. Del Rio said he would defend his title against any worthy opponent, but Punk is not worthy. He said that Punk lost his match last night, which makes Punk a loser and at the back of the line. Del Rio said he would reconsider when Punk beats someone worthy. Punk said that maybe Del Rio is right about Punk no deserving the title shot, and maybe he is a loser at the back of the line, but even if Del Rio doesn’t give him a shot, Punk will put him to sleep anyways. John Laurinitis came out and said that this sort of stuff won’t happen on his watch. Laurinitis said that he gives fans what they want and said he would make a match between Del Rio and CM Punk at Survivor Series. Punk said it was too easy and wanted to know what the catch was. Laurinitis said all Punk had to do was tell him that he respected him. Punk alluded to the fact that he didn’t and that RAW wasn’t any better with him in charge than Triple H. Punk then mockingly said that he does respect him. Laurinitis then gave Punk one more chance and Punk said he respects that Laurinitis comes out to RAW with a deer in the headlights look, his inability to hold the microphone close enough to his face and being a guy who did the most with the least ability, after somehow ascending to the top of the corporate ladder in the company. He then asked if that was good enough, but Laurinitis said it wasn’t and he would have to take another week to think about this situation. Punk told him that while he is thinking about it, he should think about the following, and proceeded to attack Del Rio. When Del Rio got away, Punk hit Roberto Rodriguez with the GTS.

During a backstage interview, an excited Zakk Ryder talked about how tonight would be his first RAW main event with Cena who is one of his “Bro-skis”. He was attacked and savagely beaten by Awesome Truth who tackled Ryder against the interview area set and kicked him in the head.

Miz and R-Truth then came to the ring and talked about Triple H trying to contain a revolution that they started in the company, and that Triple H now got exactly what they deserved. Miz said that last night they stood up to the faces of the conspiracy. R-Truth said that those who thought they were done after their actions last night, but in fact they were just starting. They said that Cena can wear any motivational shirts that he wants but he would never rise against the Awesome Truth.

Match 5: Awesome Truth v. John Cena

Cena did well for the first couple of minutes fighting off both members of Awesome Truth, but after being distracted by R-Truth, he was kicked in the gut and DDTed by the Miz. After a few more minutes, Cena would fight back, but R-Truth decided to even things up by hitting Cena with a water bottle across the head, getting his team disqualified. The Miz and R-Truth tried to continue beating on Cena, retrieving a pair of chairs from the outside. But John Laurinitis came to the ring and ordered the Miz and R-Truth to get out. As they were leaving, Laurinitis said that he would put them in a legitimate tag team match against John Cena and a partner of Cena’s choice at Survivor Series. As Laurinitis started talking to Cena, Cena ripped the microphone out of his hand and asked if this is part of another set up, like Triple H being deported and Ryder being attacked before their match. But then he stopped short and said that he would need a partner who would really bring it, and then said that he doesn’t know if it will be accepted, but he chooses The Rock!

Winner: John Cena (by disqualification)
