The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik Picks the Best Movie Theater in Jacksonville Florida

Well I love a great movie but where to go is the question. Well here in Jacksonville there are a ton of movie theaters and I have hunted down some of the ones I think are the best ones to catch a movie at.

Lets start with the San Marco Theatre located at 1996 San Marco Blvd ,Jacksonville, FL 32207

Built in 1938 by a nationally recognized architect – Roy Benjamin (who also built the beautiful Florida Theatre). Benjamin having to keep up with current trends dropped the Moorish, Spanish and Italianate designs and converted to Art Deco when designing the San Marco Theatre.

Painter Davis Cone felt compelled to paint the theatre and include it in his book POPCORN PALACES . Not only is this theatre featured in his book but it was recognized by USA Today as one of ten best classic cinemas in the USA.

David and Sue Blue took over the business 8 years ago and worked to help restore the interior to reflect the thematic elements of the architecture. Unlike the normal fare you receive at your local Multi-plex The San Marco provides you with freshly made pizzas, sandwiches, nachos, quesadillas, great beer and wine.

A Pizza runs $6.25 for a 9 inch and add .25 cents for additional toppings, the Nachos between $6 to $7, and the beer or wine is going to run from $3 to $14. The Movie Prices: adult: 8.50, senior: 7.00, child: 7.00

The only place in town to enjoy dinner, drinks and a movie.

If your going to go out to the movies you might as well do it in style. Pretend your in Hollywood California and go for the Red Carpet Treatment at :Cinemark Tinseltown and XD

At 4535 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32216

This theater offers a wide variety of discounts including Senior Days, Reel Family Time, Discount Tuesday, and Early Bird Specials. They also offer a caf© and arcade on the property and the theater is near shopping and restaurants as well.

THE MOVIE PRICES will depend on what discounts you have or what time you watch the film at.

AMC

My last pick of the theaters I would visit would be Any AMC Movie theater in your area. I live over by the beach so the one near Regency Mall is close by.

AMC PRICES ARE: $10.00 Adults, $7.50 kids 2 to 12, and also offers a $7.50 Matinee.

Also on Mondays and Thursdays before 6PM shows are $5.00

WELL GOOD MOVIE THEATER HUNTING THE OUTLAW MICHEAL TOMSIK!
