The Beckham Creek Cave Lodge has got to be a stop on everyone’s itinerary. This cleverly designed lodge took four years of painstaking work from start to finish and is truly a natural beauty in the Ozarks of Arkansas. The objective behind the lodge was that the natural surroundings should be preserved and incorporated into the design of the lodge mixing nature’s ingenuity with today’s modern conveniences.
There are several areas that are considered common areas in the Beckham Creek Cave Lodge such as the main room; this area is almost 2,000 square feet of luxury. This room offers amazing amounts of natural light with its face of windows along with the large dining area and for those that wish to sit back relax and have all your day’s stresses soothed away, the Spanish Piano is the natural waterfall in this main common area.
The kitchen area is another of the common areas and is decked out with every imaginable accessory to make your cooking time a breeze. Also offered are a long bar area to seat yourselves, or there is a breakfast nook and for the adventurous sort, there is an outside patio area accessible from the kitchen area to enjoy your meals in the amazingly beautiful surroundings. Also offered is a recreation area above the kitchen here you can kick off a round at the foosball table or have yourselves a shuffleboard tournament. Also available are areas for those who wish to play more traditional board games or cards.
The entire area offers a large variety of outdoor activities; the onsite activities include fishing, horseback riding, spelunking, and many hiking areas along with rock climbing. Beckham is also located close enough to major cities that an exciting day trip can be planned or there are many local attractions offered. Now for the lodge accommodations, there are five large bedrooms located in the cave and each offers a modern private bathroom.
Each room offers its own natural cave walls and all the rooms are beautifully appointed and luxurious considering that you are inside a cave. You will have a tendency to forget that fact during your stay, also available is a Honeymoon Suite which is set apart from the other rooms to allow for slightly more privacy. This amazing bit of architecture is located on 280 acres of land in Buffalo National River country and no matter what you are looking for in a vacation these accommodations have it all and allows you to get back to nature in a most unique way.
