It is nearing summer’s end.
All are preparing for winter.
Searching, gathering, bringing in.
So all will be ready for winter.
Some cling to the summertime
Not wanting or willing to let go
Of the freedom and peace of mind
And activities on the go.
Some are glad and are grateful
And look forward to cool and snow.
Summer not being good, but hateful.
Relieved in the cool and snow.
But arise and go upward
To where the whole picture is seen.
Seasons come and go in their order.
From on high, clearly seen.
It is best to flow with the seasons.
Do not fight them, it causes dread.
Every phase has bright reasons
To make you happy, not dread.
So accept the seasonal flow;
It is joyous to have some change.
Embrace changes that you don’t know.
Be expectant for good with change.
