Sitting in my freezer right now are two Hershey’s Ice Cream Moose Tracks Ice Cream Cones. Over the course of the past several months, I have become a big fan of these frozen treats and have been eating them on a regular basis.

The regular retail price charged for one Hershey’s Ice Cream Moose Tracks Ice Cream Cone at Hartford, Connecticut area food retailers ranges between $1.29 and $1.49. This price seems very reasonable to me.
Texture / Consistency
Several different pleasing textures are present in this packaged ice cream cone. Firstly, the cone that holds the other ingredients is a standard – type ice cream cone that is crisp and fairly hard. The vanilla ice cream that populates this treat is smooth and creamy, yet firm. A good amount of fudge pieces, as well as a few mini peanut butter cups are also contained in this delightful ice cream cone. The overall mouth – feel offered by this cone is quite appealing.

Taste / Flavor
In my humble opinion, Hershey’s Ice Cream makes some of the tastiest and most reasonably priced ice cream products sold in America. Their Moose Tracks Ice Cream Cone is a delicious item that, to me, tastes better than similar sized name brand packaged ice cream cones.
The cone is a regular style specimen that tastes like an ice cream parlor style cone. The vanilla ice cream in this cone is premium ice cream and it tastes really good. The pieces of ‘moose tracks’ fudge taste like real fudge and the peanut butter cups add another dimension of flavor that mixes well with the other ingredients.
To be honest, whenever I start eating one of these cones, I find it difficult to stop eating it, because the item tastes so good. On a flavor scale of one through ten, I would assign this product a rating of 9.50.
Packaging
Hershey’s Ice Cream Moose Tracks Ice Cream Cone is packaged in a blue foil / paper wrapper that has a round, cardboard lid of sorts, at the top of the cone.. The front of the wrapper features a cartoon illustration of a moose’s head and some little ‘moose tracks’ and the rear label lists all relevant ingredient and nutritional information.
The only thing I don’t like about the packaging of this cone is that it is hard to re – wrap any part of the cone that you might want to save in the freezer.
Overall Rating
All things considered, Hershey’s Ice Cream Moose Tracks Ice Cream Cone is a very tasty, well textured item that is usually inexpensively priced.
Like most Hershey’s Ice Cream products, their Moose Tracks Ice Cream Cone can normally be found at food retailers across America, particularly at convenience stores, pharmacies and small, independent grocers. This product is highly recommended.
