Ghost displays are one of the most often seen in people’s front yards. And with this cute ghost project, you will have a delightfully spooky time creating a ghost get together. There are 6 ghosts in this circle, so everyone will have a great time watching the sheets dance around in the wind and the moonlight. This Halloween decorating project is fairly easy to make and will take a little amount of your time.

What you will need:

6 Old White Sheets, queen size is better for medium size ghosts 6 Dowel Rods String Black Permanent marker 6 Small White Trash Bags Newspaper or Dried Leaves Duct Tape

To start, you will want to find a great location for your ghosts and preferably around a tree, pole or around another Halloween decoration something that will make a ring of ghosts look fun and enchanting.

Next, you cut the dowel rods to the height you want the ghosts to be, around 3 feet is a good sizes. Now you take a trash bag and stuff the interior with leaves or crumpled newspaper until the head is just the right size.

And then you take one of the dowel rods and push it up into the trash bag and then take the duct tape and tape the bag closed around the rod. The dowel rod will offer your ghost support and height. Next you drape the sheet right over the head of the ghost and tie the fabric around the rod with a piece of string.

Now you can have lots of fun drawing ghost faces with the permanent marker. You can make happy faces or surprise “O” faces or whatever you think is nice. And then you mark 6 spots around a tree or pole and make sure there is a 1 to 2 feet distance between them and push the rod into the ground. For the best effect, make sure you angle the ghost so they are slightly backwards. And you want the rods deep enough in the ground so the sheets are just touching the earth. If the sheet is to long for your ghost’s height, you can trim some of the sheet off the bottom to just above the ground level.

Finally you can tie the corners of each sheet to each ghost form to give the illusion all of your ghosts are holding hands.
