Our Partners that will be benefiting from this years haunted house is the Food Bank of El Dorado County and the Veteran Tickets Foundation. We will be collecting non-perishable can food items at the door to help the less fortunate.

We have been toying with the notion of working with a nonprofit organization for several years but it just never materialized. Our haunt has a strong following with quite a few returning guests that bring their family and friends with them. After talking it over with my wife we decided this year would be the year. We started to put out some feelers to see what would happen. After doing a little research I came across another haunt that was already partners with the Food Bank of El Dorado County. So I decided to send the Food Bank an email describing what we do and how we could help them generate more food for the Food Bank. To my surprise they were extremely happy to work with us and the partnership began.

Our goal this year is to raise more than 300 lbs of non-perishable can food items to help eliminate hunger in our area. We are asking our entire local community to come on out and show their support by donating to this great cause. Every single can food donated goes directly to the Food Bank of El Dorado County to feed the less fortunate.

The Veteran Tickets Foundation contacted me via email asking if we could donate tickets to our Haunted House so any active military personal could attend without paying out of pocket. I simply told them that we would be honored and it would be our privilege to have any of them attend our haunt. I told them they do not need tickets to enter our haunt just an active military ID will gain access for all of them. They couldn’t believe that we were willing to do such a thing. I simply said, it’s the least we could do.
