Two weeks ago, Taylor Swift won the Entertainer of the Year award at the Country Music Awards. Sunday night, Taylor took home another top award, the American Music Award’s Artist of the Year award. This is Swift’s second time winning the award, with her last win in 2009.

“This is the craziest thing that has ever happened to me!” Swift said during her acceptance speech.

2011 has been a fantastic year for Taylor Swift. Highlights include being listed in the 2012 Guinness Book Of World Records as the Fastest Selling Digital Album by a Female Artist for her album Speak Now and Most Simultaneous U.S. Hot 100 Hits by a Female Artist. She also launched her Wonderstruck perfume in October and was named Billboard’s 2011 Woman of the Year. Also, Forbes ranks her as 2011’s 7-most powerful celebrity, with earnings of $45 million. She also won several Billboard awards, including Top Country Album.

This was also a year of giving for Swift. She has donated more than $1 million to help victims of natural disasters. $750,000 was raised through her benefit concert during her Speak Now world tour and the other $250,000 was a personal donation to Saban’s charity, Nick’s Kids.

Swift is currently working on a follow up Album to Speak Now. She has already written 25 songs and says that “they’re sad,” according to a Pop Crush interview.
