what happens if people get swine flu? is it permanent? does it paralyze you?
Q: How is it different from the regular flu? Why have some people died?
A: Hello I would first off like to say that this is an excellent question. Swine flu is not permanent. It is known to be a major deal but overall it is not. The flu is like any other flu but is new to the United States (reasons for people dieing) The doctors were unaware of this until later back and did not have a vaccine back then. The Swine Flu does not paralyze you unless you are VERY SICK with it. (You may go into a shock)
Do you have swine flu or know anyone who does?
Q: One of the guys who lives in the dorm directly across from me has it, and so does my brother and his roommate (at a different university about 100 miles away).None of them feel well, but their lives aren’t in danger or anything. Still, it doesn’t keep half the university from worrying about it and spreading misinformation. So, do you have it or know someone who does? And are you hearing a lot of panic and misinformation?
A: A few of my husband’s friends have it and one of my friends had two sisters who had it.A lot of people have been panicking. The swine flu has (so far) proven to be less fatal than the regular flu. There’s no real need for people to worry. All you can do is protect yourself. Do not get too close to anyone showing symptoms (stay about 6 inches away as particles from coughing and sneezing can reach out pretty far), wash your hands frequently, and do not touch your face. Unfortunately, people are contagious even before showing symptoms so you can’t fully protect yourself. Practice good hygiene, avoid those who are sick, and hope for the best.
