A: There will be no site that says the exact number for that because many people dont know how they got genital herpes. I can give my own opinion and you can accept it or leave it. If you touch a cold sore then touch your genitals without washing your hands then I would say the chances of getting it is pretty high. If your hand doesn’t go exactly on the sore but just barely skims over it or hardly touches it, then I would say the chances are much less than the other way.
