A: Well, it could be pretty much anything from hangover to swine flu. Basic treatment is the same, rest, quiet, lots of fluids, maybe a little aspirin or ibuprofen for the soreness. If it goes away great, if not in a couple days see a doc. Why do I have cold symptoms after a regular flu shot?
Q: I got a regular flu shot on Friday (the 16th) and I’ve been having cold symptoms ever since. It started with a “scratchy” throat, and now I feel weak/tired, a little chilly, and my sinuses have been bothering me (but I have no fever). I’m just wondering if I should go back to the doctor, or just sweat it out? I don’t want to go back to the Doc’s if I’ll feel better in a few days. It seems like it’s a normal cold.
