Is it possible to have an eating disorder without any medical symptoms(like irregular blood pressure)?
Q: I have a friend and she is showing symptoms of eating disorders, and she has even confided in people about it to a certain degree. But now she is denying ever saying these things and she went to the doctor and he couldn’t find any of the medical symptoms, so now i’m trying to figure out why.
A: She could definatly not have any symptoms until something really bad happens.
do you think you’re fat or somewhat gradually showing an eating disorder symptoms?
Q: stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stoppppppp it. this is freaking hell! if you think you look better skinny, then you think skinny is better than life. this is killing me alive. if ur a starting anorexic or bulimic, please stop now. get help now. dont deny it. please stop before its too late. it will ruin you!!!!!!!!!!!! forever.
A: The girl above me should kill herselfI couldn’t agree with you more. I wish someone had told me about the consequences of ed before i started. Bloody hell i was only 10 i had no freaking idea. People seriously need to become more educated on eating disorders, teachers and parents saying to eat well and exercise isn’t enough. Girls don’t understand the consequences of this, especially young girls. Its not our responsibility to research this, we should be taught it by others. Not when we’re 16 and it’s too late. Look what this f*cking society is doing to people’s minds. People don’t care about anything but looks. Look at us. This is horrible. We could have done anything, we have so many opportunities. We could have been happy. But because of this stupid disease we have to spend the rest of our lives regretting all our decisions. It could have been prevented. Everyone knows this is happening, so why is no one stopping it? good luck hun. Your so strong, i know one day you’ll be able to beat this. I’m trying harder every day. I thought i would never be able to beat this. But i think one day i might actually recover. Which is a great feeling. Just to have hope. And to everyone who’s starting to become anorexic or bulimic: please, please don’t do this! I’m a recovering anorexic/bulimic and have a bulimic friend. I’ve seen it from both sides and neither is pleasant. Actually its horrible. I can’t tell you which is worse, slowly killing yourself, or watching someone you love destroy themselves. Do you really want someone you love to go through that? Do you want to do it to yourself? Is it really worth it to be skinny? Really?xx
