No this is a normal temp. Hospitals and nursing homes usually only medicate if the temp is over 101.

A: The average human body temperature is around 98.6 degrees, I believe, so I don’t think that temp qualifies as a fever. If you think she’s ill, keep an eye on her and have her rest up some. Monitor her temperature every hour or so. If you note any large changes, or she has more physical signs of illness (ie chills, vomiting, etc)call her parents and/or a doctor.

Losing weight?Being tired all the time? if you have these symptoms you could have a thyriod problem. If the sweats are accompanied with cough it could be TB. You really need to go to the Dr.
