Is this Swine flu scare just like the last one?

Q: In the 70’s there was a swine flu epidemic scare after ONE person came down with it. Subsequently thousands of people DIED from the swine flu shot. And hundreds of thousands (including me) got deathly ill from the shot, with long term health problems because of it. Why do they worry so much about this particular strain? The bird flu didn’t happen did it?
