A: yes absolutely. first of all there is a like 5 page survery you need to fill out when you go to donate blood and they have to prick your finger to check your iron. and they also check your blood pressure and temp. so if when you are answering your survery they notice you are not qualified to donate for any reason they will turn you away. secondly if you pass all their tests then they will take the blood and they don’t just send it off for patients to use it. they first send it for several tests to make sure it is healthy. then they give it to patients (as long as it passes all the tests that is)so just go to where ever is taking donations and check it out. you don’t need to worry about someone getting contaminated blood cuz you fill out paper work and all blood is checked prior to use.
