Everyone likes good TV and that’s no different for Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent Sunday night watching Downton Abbey. The royal pair is fans of the show and even told actress Jessica Brown Findlay, who plays Lady Sybil Crawley on the show, that they love the series. It was a compliment that definitely made her day.
William and Kate met Findlay when they were in LA at a BAFTA event. The 22-year-old actress was flattered she was singled out to speak with them, Daily Mail reports. She admits she was totally starstruck.
Downton Abbey is a period drama in which Findlay ironically plays a woman of English aristocracy. The show is incredibly popular with 11 million viewers. The ratings may go up since the Prince and Kate Middleton watch the show. Whatever the Duchess wears sells out instantly, so will the show see more fans?
