Top Ten Best Horror Movie Killers

Tis the season for the scariest films to ever grace the TV screen. Packed with chills, thrills, and kills, the following are some of the greatest movie killers to appear in a horror movie.

Check out the top ten killers in a scary movie:

10: Kayako from The Grudge: Obsessive and stalkerish, Kayako writes letters and shows up in the background of a professors pictures for years before her crush not only leads to the murder of her son, cat, and herself, but to the suicide of her husband, and victim. Unable to rest, anyone that comes into the house afterward is fair game to Kayako and her son that wipe out a cast of others.

9. The ghosts from Paranormal Activity and sequels: Until P3 we don’t see the ghosts but their antics that cause the death of dogs, possessing family members, causing a woman to kill her husband then cross town and offer her sister and her husband and steal their baby is enough to make you glad you only see the ghosts in one movie.

8.Samara Morgan from The Ring: She never sleeps so that gives a lot of time to use her powers to drive normal people that come into contact with Samara to their deaths. Coming out the TV, creepy. The kicker after Rachael helps her, she still offs her boyfriend and comes after Rachael’s son in the sequel.

7. Freddy Kruger: While some may argue that Freddy and his taloned glove should rank higher, Freddy can only come after victims in their dreams. In theory if you can never sleep again you are safe for quite awhile against the gloved one. But you can’t stay awake forever.

6. Carrie White: What is a matter with this kid? Sure they picked on you in school and covered you in pigs blood at the dance but lack of control over her power put everyone that crosses the teenager in the path of destruction.

5. Michael Myers: Silent but deadly, Michael is the type of killer that nightmares are made of. Is he alive? Is he a ghost? Is he unstoppable as he turns up again and again after being stabbed shot, set on fire, etc?

4. Ghostface from Scream: What is scarier than the killer being a different person in every movie? Ghostface trading off the identity to a cast of several killers in four Scream movies makes the costumed ghoul an enemy you don’t want.

3. Jason Voorhees: Other than his ability to be anywhere and get up after anything that is done to him, what makes Jason scariest is he continues to evolve after his death as a child. How is a dead small boy now an adult? Whats with the changing of the mask or the weird breathing? The scariest of momma’s boys, Jason ranks high on the list.

2. Mrs Voorhees: Revealed to be the first killer in Friday the 13th, The Mrs. gets revenge on a generation of campers years after another group of kids caused the death of her little angel, Jason. Someone has to pay, right?

1. Jigsaw: What is creepiest about Jigsaw? It’s hard to rank. Maybe the test of your willingness to live? Maybe that he seeks out sinners with the intent of testing out his new contraptions? That the death of his son was enough to make an engineering genius snap? What scares me most about Jigsaw is that even after his death he keeps right on killing because those that were smart enough to pass the tests and get a second chance at life, dedicate their lives as his minions and seek out to continue his work long after their master has passed from cancer.
