TNA has made the decision to drop Matt Hardy from their roster. You may all know Hardy was already suspended, but now the company has let Hardy go for good. Looks like Hardy is now unemployed for the time being. Hardy was arrested earlier today and this is why TNA made the decision to get rid of Hardy. What’s next for Hardy?
WWE is out of the question because I doubt that Vince wants Hardy back at all. Hardy didn’t exactly do well during his final weeks in the WWE. Hardy was more of a joke than a serious competitor on Smackdown. Hardy couldn’t compete on Raw because the talent over there was just out of his league. Hardy simply did not have what it took to be in the WWE anymore.
Matt Hardy was great when he and Jeff first arrived in the WWE and then they dominated the tag team division for a while. When they split, that’s when it seemed like there really wasn’t anything for Matt to accomplish, at least in the eyes of the WWE it seems.
It’s a shame because Matt Hardy had some serious potential in TNA and it seemed that the company was willing to give Hardy some great opportunities. Hardy had to blow it. Hopefully Matt goes to rehab and can sort his problems out. After this recent incident I doubt that TNA will allow Hardy to come back to their brand. Hardy had a good career and it’s a shame that he had to exit TNA in this fashion.
