Single Dad’s due it different then Mother’s but we still get the job done, and yes it is harder for men then women to be a single parent.
Single Dad’s don’t worry about that pile of Dish’s in the sink after dinner, we know it will be there in the morning, and we don’t really worry about the making of beds. We worry about what game or match is on tonight, Are if we are going to make it to that new fishing pond that everyone is talking about.
We don’t over react to playing in the mud when we know that the clothing can be washed and the kids themselves are waterproof.
We also tend to order out more then mothers who believe in a home cooked meal.
Does this make women better single mothers then men? I don’t think so I think that we both have it equally hard, but men have it harder, because of the way society views what a family should be! The only exception is if the mother dies, then the Dad will hear I am so sorry. Otherwise it is why your wife leave what did you do!
Dating is a disaster for the single Dad, because first we have to over come, the divorce or separation factor, then we have to deal with the new women thinking is it real between us, or is he looking for me to raise his kids? Women have it hard as well but more men are willing to step in as a replacement dad then women.
