The month of October will be recognized as Domestic Violence Month by the Mott Children’s Health Center, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., YWCA, and Genesee County Commissioner Brenda Clack.

Time: 9 AM-2 PM
The Theme is “Teen Violence and Abuse: Breaking thru silence texting, sexting, and bullying.” Hopefully this will address and educate young ladies and young men ages 12-19 years old regarding the consequence of bully dating, texting, home violence, and sexting abuse.
Note: Registration is required, and obtaining of a permission slip by calling 810-257-3028 by Friday, September 30, 2011.
