Jeep Wrangler: Why Ride?
I stopped for what seemed like a 25-foot-wide, foot-deep puddle of milkshake-brown muddy water and looked at my friend who sat in the passenger seat of my 94 Jeep Wrangler. The mid-July sun was hot. My Jeep Wrangler, my favorite vehicle, was locked in four-wheel-drive. No words were necessary. He understood my plan. His devilish snare told it all. Besides, it was my Jeep and not his. It would be my Wrangler to fix if anything went wrong.
Moments later I gunned it, sending four trails of sand, mud and earth behind us. We thrust forward like a rocketship, casting mud, water, sand and small rocks sideways and up and over us. We cooled off in a an orange-brown spray of seemingly all of the minerals God placed on this planet mixed with a good amount of water.
“That was way cool,” he said.
Yes it was. Though it wasn’t perhaps the best way to treat my favorite vehicle, the Jeep Wrangler is tough and I knew she could take it.

My favorite time was taking my Jeep Explorer and exploring the old stage roads that snake through the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, home to dozens of ghost towns that prospered during the 1800s. You may enjoy the trill of the open beach instead. Any open road is an adventure in a Jeep Wrangler.

Perhaps the best reason the Jeep Wrangler became my favorite vehicle was rallying through the back roads after a 30-inch snowfall. The Jeep Wrangler gives its driver, and any driver, all of the confidence to successfully challenge the most daunting of roads.
