It’s beautiful the summers here,
Full of love and life abound,
The sticky sweet summer air,
Fresh flowers all around,
The sweet perfume of orange in bloom,
The heat coming off the ground,
Beauty in the lightning strikes,
And thunders booming sound,
Twinkling stars out in the desert,
Away from city lights,
The beautiful desert cactus flowers,
That only bloom at night,
It calls to me the sun and sand,
Sets my heart alight ,
Everything’s just perfect here,
The Arizona summer nights.
