Watery Grave

Feeling the cold water rushing by me, holding firm to the rivers floor
Looking up like through a prism, warm colors fills the eyes
The ending day comes too quickly as the day close’s its door

Stagnate water filled with muck and life still finds a way
Infestation then fills the air with death on wings do fly
Feeling the cold water rushing by me, holding firm to the rivers floor

Whirling water spirals down spinning wildly into abyss
The colors are fading with memory of memories of things
The ending day comes too quickly as the day close’s its door

Purest of water for quenching one’s thirst filling my gasping fight
Sinking to the bottom the rivers from years gone past
Feeling the cold water rushing by me, holding firm to the rivers floor

Solid water in frozen state preserving what’s left of bone and flesh
Becoming the food of the things we ate a wilderness feast at best
The ending day comes too quickly as the day close’s its door

Oh warmth of numbness sooth my troubled mind
Colors move from black to white
Feeling the cold water rushing by me, holding firm to the rivers floor
The ending day comes too quickly as the day close’s its door
