Award-winning singer Fergie and Avon Chairman and CEO Andrea Jung will co-host the 11th Avon Foundation for Women Gala , a celebration of Avon philanthropy that will shine a spotlight on organizations changing the face of women’s health and empowerment around the world. During this milestone year for Avon Products – the company’s 125th Anniversary – the Avon Foundation Gala will honor breast cancer programs and organizations working to end violence against women in Avon countries around the globe.
Right in the exciting heart of Times Square, more than 1,000 guests, will enjoy performances and appearances by the finalists and judges in Avon’s spectacularly successful Avon Voices program, Avon’s first ever global singing and songwriting competition.
Avon global philanthropy and The Avon Foundation for Women have donated more than $800 million in more than 50 countries for causes most important to women. Since its inception in 2001, the Avon Foundation Awards Gala has celebrated Avon’s philanthropic efforts and partners and raised more than $20 million to help eradicate breast cancer and end violence against women.
