For those who follow Christian music, The Afters’ songs are heard on everything from radio to television. With shows like “The Biggest Loser” and “You Deserve It” playing their music, the band’s Godly messages are making their way into the lives and hearts of people who might not have heard them without the exposure they have been receiving.
It also seems that their music, along with other Christian music artists, is being heard in grocery and department stores across the states. When a grocery store box boy in Kentucky was asked why the store was playing Christian music, he smiled and replied, “Because I made it to the radio first this morning.”
To God Be the Glory
The band members give all the credit to God because they realize that God has saw them through the good and bad situations in their lives all while molding them and leading them to where they are today.

Who are The Afters?
The Afters began their career by accident. When Josh and Matt worked together at a Starbucks in Texas, they would play songs for the customers and later played together at a church conference. After the two were sent into a whirlwind of devoted fans, they picked up Dan and Jordan to round out t he band . A very short time later, they signed with Epic Records.
Christian Music
Thanks to dedicated Christian bands like The Afters, people can experience Christian music in a whole new light. Not so long ago, the only Christian music that could be heard was the same music we’d hear in our church pews.
While these songs are the foundation of Christian music, God loving men and women can express their love for Christ in a whole new way allowing a new generation of Christians to be able to experience music in a way that sounds fresh, but still keeps the message of God first and foremost in the lyrics.

With true dedication to spreading God’s word in the front of these band members minds, more and more people can come to know and love Christian music while experiencing the blessings that comes from knowing and loving God.
Christian bands like: Mercy Me, Tenth Avenue North, Sanctus Real and Kutlass along with solo artist like Francesca Battistelli, Chris Tomlin, and Matthew West are all putting their own spin to songs that fill audiences with faith, hope, and a longing to be closer to God.
Even reality shows like American Idol have produced Christian artist: Jason Castro, Mandisa and Chris Sligh.
On the Radio
Listeners from all over the world donate money each and every year to Christian music radio stations to ensure the music will be there when they turn the radio on each time. Without loving supporters, Christian music couldn’t be heard as easily as we’d like.
