Fashion Flops of Walmart Shoppers I Vow to Avoid in 2012

It’s time for New Year’s resolutions, but this time I’m going to resolve to NOT do something instead of resolving TO do something. I think that may be the approach I may have more success with this year. So what am I up to exactly?

This year I’m going to resolve to not make certain fashion mistakes or flops. Sound simple? It can be if you know in advance what fashion mistakes to avoid.

I think you will agree with me on most of the suggestions that I will be listing below of fashion statements to avoid in 2012 that were inspired by various email alerts of people shopping in Walmart in some really tacky outfits. In fact, you may have seen a few of them yourself from emails that you have received from friends on the horrifying styles, fashions that some people have the nerve to wear in public, namely Walmart!

1. A dress or skirt that is way too short. By this I mean the hem or end of skirt or dress does not cover your behind and others can see your behind when you bend over to look at something on a shelf while shopping, or bending over to put an item into your shopping cart. Hello, we don’t want to see what color your underwear is or know if you are not indeed even wearing them. TMI!

2: Summertime fashions like short shirts or tube tops on ladies or girls that do not have the shape for them. Another words, someone that is overweight that has skin (rolls) hanging over the edge of the fabric. This is just gross ladies.

3. Ok, it’s time to plug one to the guys now. However, I have seen ladies also doing this, but more so the guys. Low cut jeans are not made for everyone. Don’t wear this style of jeans if you can’t cover up your butt crack. Others don’t want to see, trust me!

4. Wearing your jeans or top too tight. This can be scary, but not as scary as No. 2 on the list. It really isn’t flattering to see a cute young lady in jeans so tight you can’t imagine how she got into them or how she will get out. Is she still breathing? You may think you look skinnier, but we can all see that you have stuffed yourself inside a size that is one or two sizes too small. It’s really not flattering, but rather sick looking.

5. Back to the guys, especially teenagers. What is with the baggy pants/jeans? You can make another pair of pants out of all that extra material hanging around. And why do some of you let them hang down to the middle or below your behind? That is really disgusting.

So there you have it. My top five fashion flops that I resolve to AVOID in 2012. I think this will be one set of resolutions that I won’t have any trouble keeping! Happy New Year!
