Dancing with the Stars Autumn Season 13- Memorable Movie Score Week- Chaz Bono Performs like Rocky

Dancing with the Stars Season 13 movie score week has arrived and the stars are acting the part of a character on a movie. Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer performed a Paso Doble to theme from “Rocky.”

Chaz said he loved this song because it was one of the first movies he saw that related to being an underdog. He loved Rocky and wanted to be him. Chaz had a problem with his knees and ankles during rehearsals. Lacey brought in Richard Simmons to help Chaz with his strength training. Chaz acted like Rocky during the training.

The performance opened with Chaz sitting in a chair dressed like a boxer. Chaz gave his best performance yet. That strength training must have helped him a lot because he didn’t stand in the middle of the floor with Lacey dancing around him. He even ran up a flight of stairs for a solo at the end. His mother, Cher was in the audience cheering him on with tears in her eyes.

Bruno- “Chaz, in the true spirit of Rocky, no matter how many knocks you take, you keep coming back. You keep fighting. You’re getting stronger.”

Carrie Ann- She was crying. “Somehow, you get under my skin and you make me root for you, just like Rocky Balboa did.” She told him he has magic.

Len- “It wasn’t exactly a knock out performance, but it was your best performance yet.” Very true.

The DWTS judges gave him triple 7’s for a score of 21 out of 30. It is his highest score yet. He earned it this week.
