Stevie Nicks in Your Dreams Concert ~ Postponed Due to Illness

Stevie Nicks has been thrilling audiences since she was 4 years old now at 63 she’s doing it again. Stevie has just released brand new album called, “In Your Dreams.” Her new album has already sold over 141,336 copies in the USA alone and
has made Billboard Magazine’s top 200 chart for several weeks in a row.

Although Stevie had to postpone her concert in Atlanta at Chastain Park Amphitheater this week due to illness. The concert was only moved up for two days from August 15th to August 17th, thanks to Stevie’s, “the show must go on attitude” the concert began on time and once again, Stevie Nicks rocked the house.

It’s amazing that Stevie is still working and writing songs, but if you take a look into her past it’s really not that surprising at all. Nicks has to love what she does because she has singing and dancing since she was four years old. Entertainment is what Stevie Does and she does it well. Fleetwood Mac the band that Stevie’s unique voice helped to make famous was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 1998. It just doesn’t feel right to call Stevie a former member of the band, because Stevie Nicks was Fleetwood Mac. Not to take anything away from Fleetwood Macs other band members, they were all great.

One of Stevie’s best Albums ever “Rumors” released in 1977 and had four Top 10 singles from that one album plus the song Dreams, written by none other than Stevie Nicks herself was number one on the charts for over thirty straight weeks in the United States.

Stevie Nicks has sold almost 150 million albums, has hit the Top 50 charts at least 50 times and is still making music today. Some of Stevie’s greatest hits are Sara and Angel (1979) both off of the Tusk Album. Then there were Bella Donna, The Edge Of Seventeen, Gypsy, Stand Back, the list goes on and on for Stevie Nicks.

Stevie Nicks has received Grammy Awards many times as a solo artist and as a member of Fleetwood Mac. Stevie Nicks definitely does still have what it takes to keep the audience rocking and rolling for as long as she chooses. Stevie Nicks still sounds like an angel and she still looks like one as well.

Many of Stevie’s fans were very disappointed when the Chastain Park concert was moved up a couple of days, but her fans showed right on up two days later to cheer Stevie on and hear her sing one more time. There have been Rumors that Fleetwood Mac would be getting together for a big tour soon. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
