Sam told Grace he loved her. That was the most exciting day of her life. A year later, she was dressed in a long, beautiful, white gown walking down the aisle with her father, going to meet the love of her life at the end of it. Maybe that was the most exciting day of her life. Grace remembers having a lot of ups and downs throughout their relationship, but people always told her that it was all a part of being married. Then their baby boy was born. Ok, that was the most exciting day of her life. Things were good for a while after that. The fighting started again. The day Sam told Grace he loved her, she had a bruise on her neck. The day they got married, she had a broken arm. The day she gave birth to their son, she had a black eye. The most exciting day of Grace’s life had to be the day she decided to leave him. On that day, she was punched in the stomach. Unfortunately for Grace, it was also the last day of her life. On that day, Sam loved her to death.
